Galactic Civil War long term availability?

Hey everyone,

I discovered Battlestations a few weeks ago and have decided to dive in - it's just a matter of when.

My group looks to be entrenched in a new RPG campaign which won't allow us to start up a Battlestations game till at least December - perhaps even longer due to other games in the pipe-line.  I've already determined GCW is a must buy and wish to buy both, the only problem is I'd like to wait till Christmas so I can drop some not-too-subtle hints to my wife.  Obviously, I'm worried GCW will be out of print by then. 

I would just pick them up now and let them sit on the shelf for several months but I don't have a lot of spare cash and would prefer to wait.  Is GCW expected to go through another print run when it runs out or is it truly limited?  It's hard to imagine the best selling expansion for a game would be allowed to go permanantely out of print but who knows.

It is a good question as to whether when we'll go to a full reprint for GCW.

As it is, we're considering making the PDF available.  You'd have to print out your own modules but that wouldn't be too bad.

We've also got Free Trader and Bot Wars on the front burner right now so getting the cash together to reprint GCW isn't a high priority.

Any update on a reprint or possible pdf versions?  I'm in a regular group and we've played about half a dozen missions so far.  I'm hooked.  I like this game quite a bit more than Descent:  The Road to Legend (and I thought RTL was very fun), which our group played for over a year.  I'm considering getting my own Battlestations collection so that I can learn how to play my character more effectively, but I'd really like to have this expansion along with everything else.  Thought Hammer's site says they expect a restock within 30 days, but I could have sworn I saw that same message from them months ago.  I figured I would post here for an official response.

Hi,

July 1st is long gone but still no GCW available anywhere, in PDF nor paper. (or am I just too blind to find it?)

I've just recently found the awesomeness of Battlestations and have managed to whip my gaming group to the same enthusiasm about the game - and after googling around I'm convinced that I definetly want to add the the GCW expansion to the game.

So, any word on how and when and from whom this expansion might be available in any format again?
