Real Quick,

After about 300 lifeboat games here's how I play:

Lady Loren: Play her for points. Take point cards and horde, especially jewels. If for some reason points are buried, then go for the big ass weapon and dominate.  Try to end the game asap, it's in your best interests to get to shore quick. Hopefully you can outscore the kid with point cards.

Kid: Stay Alive.  If you are in the back try to end the game ASAP.  Don't fight, don't row. Pick pocket, that's all.

First Mate:  Get to the back.  You may go overboard some but you got more life than everyone else. Take out the person you hate. Prolong the game as much as possible.  Try to be the last man standing.

These are some solid baseline strategies.  Obviously, you're going to change things up somewhat based on the situation.  If your beloved is one pip away from being beaten unconscious by your hated one, you can step in and fight as Lady Lauren or the kid but it is usally a good idea for the meeker characters to stay out of the shenanigans.

After about 300 lifeboat games
Amateur.   Wink

So what was the wackiest thing you saw in all those games?  And/or was there any 1 game in particular that stood out for some reason?  Surely in 300ish games there must have been just about everything.

Well my most memorable game was a 7 player game (expansion). I played lady loren, hated myself, everyone but me died, and I got all the jewels and paintings. Not all the cash though.  I can't remember the entire scoring total but I seemed to remember being near 40-50 points.  Which I've never seen any score that high.  Admittely I was due for a game like that after having been pummelled a few times.

Many of those 300 were 3 player demos, which while fun aren't nearly as fun as 5 or more player games.
